The Opéra de Québec and its Festival provide exceptional artists with the opportunity to revisit the classical repertoire in bold and original ways. The Festival highlights the creation of new works and contributes to the enrichment of the operatic repertoire.
Every year, more than 100 soloists, designers, choristers, musicians, dancers, actors, technicians, and creators have the unique opportunity to work, create, and shine in Québec through opera productions of international caliber.
More than 1,500 people each year attend a dress rehearsal or a public master class. High school students, post-secondary students in music, literature, architecture or human sciences, as well as community organizations, all experience a meaningful encounter with opera — an art form that inspires, educates, and transforms.
Donor Recognition Program
The Fondation de l’Opéra de Québec wishes to recognize the donors who enable the Opéra de Québec and the Festival d’opéra de Québec to bring lyrical art to life in the city. The Cercle des mécènes groups individuals who have made donations into six categories according to the amount of the donation, which entitles them to certain benefits.
