The Festival d’opéra de Québec’s Grand Free Outdoor Concert

A flagship event of the summer, Sors tes grands airs! transforms Place Jean‑Béliveau, near the Centre Vidéotron, into a vast open‑air stage. An invitation extended to the entire Québec City community to experience a memorable evening.

A Historic 15th Anniversary

The 2026 edition marks 15 years of operatic passion at the Festival d’opéra de Québec. The Sors tes grands airs! concert will be the highlight of this milestone celebration. The event also launches a new annual tradition: offering thousands of residents free access to some of opera’s greatest masterpieces, performed by renowned artists from Québec and around the world.

Program Highlights — Opera’s Greatest Masterpieces

Artistic and Music Director Jean-Marie Zeitouni has crafted a program that will delight opera enthusiasts and newcomers alike. Let yourself be swept away by some of the most celebrated and moving arias from the French and Italian repertoires—timeless melodies that many people find themselves humming without even realizing they come from the world of opera.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Be sure to bring your own chairs or blankets for comfortable seating. Parasols and umbrellas will not be permitted on site.
